My body was in a state of numbness and dissociation. My body was protecting me, keeping me from all the pain I had suppressed. Until, it could no longer hold it in.
The whispers became screams and I could no longer ignore the signals of my body.
I quieted the world and tuned back into myself.
The whispers came back and began to talk to me.
It was a game of trust in myself and my body trusting me.
It was the return home to me, but also the reclamation of my power and sovereignty.
