Offering Your Blood to Mother Earth

This ritual is to create a symbiosis dynamic with mother earth. We are going to offer our blood back to her. In doing so, we are communicating to Gaia the needs of our body. We are giving our blood for the exchange of blood we take. I once heard, “If every menstruating woman gave her blood back to the earth, we could end wars.”

How to:

• Collect your menstrual blood.

  -Either through your menstrual cup, rinsing your period panties or reusable pads, or simply squatting over or sitting on mother earth bare. If you are offering this to specific plants, be sure to dilute your blood. If you do not have a yard, you can offer your blood to any indoor plants.

• Offer a prayer to mother earth.

• Sit in nature where you offered your blood, or in a space to meditate.

• Complete the guided meditation below. The guided portion is about 10 minutes and music for you after.
